Having a tracking number that works on common sites is very convenient. i enjoy reading threads where people honestly share what worked and what failed for them. it is interesting to see how different people value different aspects of a product. if the first order goes well, i slowly try more products from the same place.

whenever i find something that actually works well, i tend to reorder it later. online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. that is why i sometimes leave comments myself when i test a new shop or product. for coats and blazers i usually go one size up if i want to layer sweaters under them. if a deal looks too good to be true, it usually has some kind of catch. i try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe.

everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. i think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. if they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, i become suspicious. trendy pieces are fun, but i only buy them when the price is reasonable. many times i avoided a bad purchase just by reading a few careful comments. if a piece of jewelry keeps its color and does not irritate the skin, i consider it a win. if many different people say the same thing about a product, it is worth paying attention.
