I like when a shop clearly shows pd, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. when every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. some pieces look shiny online but feel like plastic when you open the package. personally i like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. sometimes one good quality item is better than five very cheap ones.
if anyone is interested in real user experiences, i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test.

if they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, i become suspicious. i also pay attention to return policy and customer service response time. if they reply politely and give detailed answers, i feel more relaxed. metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear.
